A yoga instructor at Body & Soul, Susan Swift has been practicing and teaching yoga for nearly a decade. With a background in both Forrest and heart-centered yoga, her intention is to help others discover their authentic selves by practicing pranayama. Her paper, “It’s All About the Breath,” examines the importance of the ujjayi breath which enables yogis to erase the dividing lines between the mind, the body, and the soul--what she calls our “personal trinity.” Swift designs each of her classes anew, which provides her yogis with not only a fresh, physical practice but a unique personal experience.
